The Beastmaker 1000 hangboard has been ergonomically designed for the hands of those who are a bit newer to climbing and training but want to progress quickly. This board is suitable for those climbing from 5a all the way to 7c or even further if you fancy taking on some one armed deadhangs.

The dirty 45 degree slopers and monos which are apparent on the Beastmaker 2000 have been removed to make way for some jugs and more variation of the pocket depths. The Beastmaker 1000 is made from wood with a very fine texture which is very kind to your skin and the holds have been radiused to avoid tweaking any fingers. The holds include:

The Beastmaker 1000 hangboard has been ergonomically designed for the hands of those who are a bit newer to climbing and training but want to progress quickly. Over the years this has rightly become the most popular hangboard in the world and its design has helped thousands of climbers get a stronger grip over the years. This board is suitable for those climbing from 5A (V1) all the way to 7C+ (V10) or even further if you fancy taking on some one armed deadhangs.

Beech hardwood, sourced from the EU is the absolute best quality combined with the lowest carbon footprint that we can get hold of. The wood for these is sourced from continuous cover forestry, which is more environmentally friendly and does not deplete the forest canopy and environment in the same way that clear cut forestry does. This combined with biomass kiln drying and a road based transport network means that Beech is the lowest CO2 hardwood we can reliably get our hands on. It also is one of the absolute best wood types to train on.

Beech is a slightly denser wood, with a darker colour and a beautiful subtle grain which should be slightly more durable over decade timespan.

A screw on version of our classic pinch hold. Perfectly symmetrical, so works for either hand. 

They are ideal for powerful board climbing or campussing, providing a good handful of hold which really engages the thumb for maximum squeeze training. 

Each hold is CNC machined from a solid piece of hardwood.

A pair of juggy pinches, with a positive hold for your fingers and a positive thumb dimple. These are big holds for big moves, and are of course incredibly comfortable to pull on. 

They come in a symmetrical pair, but they feel lovely in either hand.

A lovely rounded edge with just enough incut to work on a steep board. Great for forcing you to climb with good tension as its particularly hard to hold a swing on this hold.

A little rounded pinch with a slight incut. The small footprint makes it great for fitting into gaps on your board. It's symmetrical so feels the same whichever hand you grab it with.

A classic board crimp. No thumb option means there's no way to pinch it. It's 20mm depth and incut profile will work for >Font 6c/V4 climbers on steep boards. A board staple.

A positive, 25mm deep edge. This hold has a small footprint so is great for filling in gaps on boards. It's positive enough for doing big moves, but it's certainly not a jug! A board staple.

This range of wooden climbing holds is designed to be at home on any board. The shapes are tried and tested, classic functionality, variety and aesthetics which should really benefit any training set up that needs them.

Showpiece pinches: The Classic showpiece pinches feature a pair of parallel wide pinches and an incut tapered pinch that is perfect for all abilities to get used to pinching or pros to smash big moves between. Will set off any board functionally as well as visually.

A standard pinch which boards can't do without. These are nice and deep, but the totally flat profile makes your hands work hard to hold them.

A symmetrical pinch that's 25mm deep and very slightly incut. This hold is hard and works best for >Font 7b/V8 climbers on steep boards.

A pair of scooped out crimp holds. 

Every board needs crimpy, fingery holds!

These are slightly positive but very rounded making them comfy to yank on. They come in a symmetrical pair, which are more or less then same in either hand, but they are subtly different meaning they won’t feel exactly the same in your left and right hand. This adds some variation to your board.

A pair of lovely rounded pinches that are designed to be hard! They're sloping all around with a slight sweet spot for the fingers and the thumb. 

These are perfect for training maximum squeeze. There's no hiding on these holds. 

They come in a symmetrical pair, but the work perfectly well whichever hand you grab them with.

A pair of our hardest pinches. Both sides are sloping to really force your thumbs into action. The holds are big enough for 2 hands for really meaty match moves, or you can simply grab on with one hand and let rip!

Made by hand out of solid poplar. 

A 1 pad pinch with a slight incut. Designed to be a pretty tough hold for climbers >Font 7a/V6 on step boards. The hold is symmetrical so works the same for either hand.

A slightly positive, 50mm deep 2 handed hold. A pretty juggy hold, but also great for for forcing burly moves as a gaston or undercut etc. On boards over 45degrees this hold will start to feel quite sloping! Good luck.

Crafted by hand from a single piece of beech. 

A sloper! This is a really rounded and comfy hold. At or above 45 degrees this hold is ridiculously hard, but can be used if you have good enough feet in the right places. Under 45 degrees this is a perfect sloper for getting your hands working. This is also a great addition to a fingerboard setup of you want some mega comfy flatties for pull ups or lock offs etc.
